This book is unlikely to help you get rich, either quickly or slowly. It makes no claims about revealing hidden knowledge or secrets of any kind. Neither does it claim to tell you things that a powerful but possibly shadowy group don’t want you to know. It probably won’t improve your health (and definitely does not include a simple cure for cancer which Big Pharma is doing everything in its power to keep from you). And the chances are it won’t even make you a better cook. So why on earth would you want to read it? Well, firstly, on the assumption you are not an astronaut or currently in a flying machine, where else would you read it? And, secondly, how else will you satisfy your curiosity? This is a book about persuasion. An adventure in the labyrinths of language where tricksters lie in wait to prey upon the unwary. 2 + 2 = 11. True or false?
