OSMF is a premalignant condition, which is very common in Indian subcontinent becuase of chewing habit of tobacoo and its other by products. The sign and symptoms of this condition includes reduce mouth opening, burning sensation in cheeks and whole oral cavity. the severity of this disease is that sometime patient mouth opening becomes zero and patient cannot have solid food. If the habit continues sometime it can turn up into malignanacy.many medicinal and surgical options are avialble for this disease, but most important is stoppage of habit along with the treatment. Surgical management of OSMF along with aggresive physiotherapy, mouth opening exercises results in achieving good mouth oprning.
