Jake is on a journey of double discovery. He travels through the Simpson Desert in central Australia bush camping and hears about the theological ideas of Liam his father who has died. Together with Baz, his father’s best friend, Jake rides a thousand sandhills including Big Red and arrives at the iconic Birdsville Hotel.
