Twelve-year-old Laci and her three cousins have arrived in the unicorn world of Anuel. However, Laci can’t stay long. She and her unicorn, Proudlily, must leave to explore Laci’s forgotten past. Laci travels to different magical kingdoms trying to uncover the mystery of who or what she is to the unicorns. Why do they think she can save them from Sithius, the unicorns’ arch enemy who despises all magical creatures?

Laci begins to feel inadequate as each world she visits, all the creatures recognize her, and they believe she can help them.
